• Collaborated with faculty, guest, and student designers for four shows and a dance concert per season
• Managed material budgets ranging from $700 to $14,000 per show

• Implemented and maintained a safe and efficient work space
• Planned and supervised load-ins and strikes
• Design and implement all rigging for productions
• Research and develop structural engineering information for scenic elements
• Created construction drawings for all scenic elements
• Stayed within time and monetary budgets for shows
• Research, organize and acquire materials
• Responsible for hiring of scene shop staff
• Supervised crews of up to eighteen people
• Coordinate with Costume Shop Manager, Master Electrician and Sound Engineer on cross departmental projects or on scenic elements that affect or are affected by other areas.
• Taught carpentry, cabinetry, welding, and rigging
